Carvallo Hotel

The Carvallo Hotel is another charming historic hotel located in the center of Cuenca. The hotel takes advantage of a beautiful ancient Ecuadorian mansion of the XIX century with colonial-style tiled floors. Also, the hotel has a beautiful colonial central courtyard. This and all the spaces are decorated with luxurious furniture from the Ecuadorian colonial period, as well as the exquisite yellow lighting that floods every corner of the hotel. Additionally, because of its beauty, the hotel received the Fray José Maria Vargas Award for outstanding restoration of the year 2003 from the Illustrious Municipality of Cuenca.

The hotel has 30 spacious and comfortable rooms with ancient colonial style. The Carvallo’s rooms are adorned with elegant furnishings and sumptuous fabrics in jewel tones. Some rooms have a separate living room and fireplace, and the ceilings are decorated with care. Each room is equipped with a minibar, cable TV, and a bathtub.

The restaurant provides a daily buffet breakfast featuring cheese, jams, and fresh juices. Room service is also available upon request.
