Electricity and Power Supplies
Bolivia uses 220-volt currents, alternating at a frequency of 60 cycles per second. Of course, always pay attention to the volts accepted by your electronic devices before plugging them in. If don’t buy a voltage converter, your 110-volt device always will die in a 220-volt electric outlet. Therefore, check your devices to see which voltages they work with. Happily, lots of mobiles, tablets, laptops, and e-readers have a double voltage option, so you won’t need to use a converter in that case.
